This was done in high school for the kindergarten class at my school. For their graduation they did an acronym of the word “kindergarten” and I tried to make each letter represent the word it stood for.
This was the first show I was paint charge for. It was Anne of Green Gables! I designed and painted each side of the periaktois to provide many different settings for one small stage.
This was the school yard for the Anne of Green Gables set.
This was Anne’s bedroom.
This was something I painted for a high school near my college. They did the show “Into the Woods.”
The tower was a very simple design, but took many hours to complete due to it’s size. I spent many hours on a lift and on ladders in order to complete it.
This portrait I painted was for the show “The Butler Did It.” I was actually in this play in the role of Charity Haze! We needed a creepy, weird portrait to hang on the back wall over the fireplace. So, I painted this!
This was for a superhero-themed show that my school’s clubs put on. They asked me to design a backdrop on 9 8×4 flats. So, I made a classic, comic-like city-scape!
My school’s psychology department did a zombie run to raise money, and I volunteered to help. I was asked to make signs to post around the path of the run.
I later covered the signs with blood splatter. I put a nice, smeared handprint on one of them. It was really fun.
The zombie run is an annual thing, and for 2016’s run, I was asked to make a map of the run! So, this is the result of that. I tried to imagine it as an actual sign that people in the apocalypse added on to throughout the apocalypse.
